Abstract -
In a developing society such as Nigeria, hospital consultants are not available in good enough ratio. The result of which is that one consultant may be engaged in up to ten hospitals within the metropolis and therefore unable to rotate his services effectively in order to attend patients in emergency situations. In advanced nations, technology has come to aid further the availability of immediate attention in emergencies. Thus for medical facilities such as ours, rooted in traditional methods, there is urgent need to avail the best in technology to maximise medical care and productivity. This can be achieved through evolutions in GSM, Personal Area Network, within the framework of Telemedicine.
