Abstract
The IoT, or Internet of Things, is a game-changing innovation that enables commonplace appliances and objects to collect and exchange data by connecting them to the internet. IoT has emerged as a transformative force in various industries, including insurance, in recent years. This research paper investigates the application of the Internet of Things to insurance systems and technology. It explores the advantages and difficulties of integrating IoT devices in insurance and the impact on risk assessment, claims processing, and consumer engagement. The paper also discusses the potential future developments of IoT in insurance and its implications for the industry. Through the analysis of case studies and existing literature, this paper aims to demonstrate the potential of IoT in transforming the insurance sector.
