Abstract:- An advance in the development of information technology and the performance standards in the healthcare systems require an electronic health care record to allow the management of the various sources of clinical data in a patient-centered care approach for the health organization which has been well known in nursing, where patient centered holistic care is central to the majority of nursing models through the nursing process. Methods: An explorative study has been carried out to determine the level of acceptance of Nursing Information System (NIS) for computer generated nursing care plan among thirty nurses selected by convenience sampling technique in the selected hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in the pre implementation stage. Self administered Likert’s scale questionnaire based on.
