The use of linear algebra and fuzzy theory significantly increases in image processing. In particular, digital image watermarking accounted for the bulk of the use of these two categories of mathematics. For this reason, in this paper, the QR decomposition method and the Fuzzy Inference System (Mamdani type) is applied to the host image in order to determine the appropriate position to insert the bits of the watermark into the cover image according to the parameter obtained from the Fuzzy Inference System. This parameter controls the rate of the visibility of the watermarked image compared with the host image. After that, some attacks are shed for testing the robustness and the imperceptibility of the proposed technique.
