The Mobile phone users wants a faster technology which gives the meaning of word which they have searched either in the text form or getting the output in the form of voice. Now a days costing of Internet is also increasing. Thus an offline dictionary will be highly practical from user point of view. Such system will be easy to use time saving and provide search functionality. In this paper we are proposing a system which takes user input either in the form of text or voice and gets the resulting output in any desired language of his choice. The app is using SQLite database and doesn’t use any kind of server interaction thus it works offline. The app is developed in JAVA for Android operating system as the number of android users are more. The system is feasible for user and easy to use.
