Abstract -
Wireless network is one of the modern inventions of the world. It changes the network scenario and provides freedom to the users to move here and there with their computing devices. WLAN provides endless network to the moving users without any interrupt. WLAN works on the IEEE 802.11 standard, which has Physical and MAC layer. There is different Quality of Services (QoS) parameters that affect the performance of the WLAN. In this paper the study of the basics of WLAN and QoS factors is done.
