Abstract -
The survey is made to get familiarized with the working structure of the web recommendation systems to apply it in the context of the query recommendation domain. The query recommendation process plays a vital role in the exploration of the database that recommends the top N SQL queries to the user who lacks in the use of the Structured Query Language. In this paper, the required methodologies, algorithms, tools and techniques of the web recommendation systems are reviewed to make the use of them to provide the assistant tool to assists the user to formulate the SQL query to explore the database.
